Buyers of high definition television are divided into three types:
The Intelligent:
These people know that having an HDTV set doesn't necessarily mean they'll be getting programs in HD broadcast. Television networks like BBC have started airing shows in HD format like the FIFA World Cup coverage, Planet Earth, and the Bleak. These programs are only available for HDTVs with an attached HDTV tuners. If you don't know what an HDTV tuner is, then you're a moron who deserves to be damned in hell.
Some TVs are HD ready, but it would be better to buy an HDTV tuner to make sure that you get all the standard and HD programming available in your local network. NextVision HD12 HDTV Tuner gives bright, and improved reception of HDTV, and standard signals. Compatible with almost any unit, the tuner aids all TV formats from 480i to 10801.
The Gullible:
These people see HDTV as a weapon to make their neighbors green with envy. They swallow all the shitty advertisements about HDTV and buy them without thinking. They do know device makers are liars especially with the performance of their products. However, the gullible group does not care about deception in advertising. Thus, they buy HDTV without the tuners, only to get disappointed with its quality.
The Moron:
Gullible people are morons too.

With the fuss on HDTVs, I wonder when these new breed of idiot boxes be really ready to conquer our living rooms. I know that they're ready being sold in appliance centers but I also know that as far as resolution and color rendition is concerned, they are not yet ready since 1080p resolution sources will only be available perhaps a year or two from now. Like what I've been blabbering within the past months, we should make sure that we buy gadgets that are really future-proof.
Anyways, are you aware that even analog TV can accept HDTV input? Sounds interesting right, but this is no joke folks, you can actually access those HDTV stations on your standard boob tube. What I'm talking about guys is a HDTV-ready sets, which is an analog TV that uses an external digital tuner to be able to watch HDTV programming and basic analog broadcasts as well. This is something like our old cable ready TV sets, if you remember that, wherein you can have cable channels and common channels at the same time. On the other hand, a real HDTV sets have a digital tuner installed which allows you to received high definition broadcasting. Hope you're not confused with that, okay, to make things simpler, an HDTV set need not an additional tuner unlike the HDTV ready, I hope you got that.
What's astonishing is that U.S. lawmakers are planning to get rid of analog TVs and switch every single idiot box on the fifty states of America to HD broadcasting. If my clouded memory served me right, I think they are proposing the shutoff of standard TVs effective February 2009. I'm confused with this report, but anyway, does this mean they are going to give all Americans their own HDTV set?

I just recently realized the complicated disparity between two of the most in demand commodities today, the HDTV and a Pocket PC. For the Pocket PC it's good when it's small, that's why it's for the pocket, but it's better if it's slimmer. Meanwhile for the ultimate rule for HDTV is it should bigger and wider than the one that my next door owns. And since this blog is for HDTV, let's ditch the former and talk about these gigantic boob tube invading our living rooms.
The sales of the so-called high definition television is swelling and selling fast like hotcakes topped with maple syrup. According to product researches by various surveys, they are today's huge phenomenon as far as consumer electronics is concerned. I think this is factual despite the truth that these new living room must-haves are sold in sky rocketing prices that make one bite the dust. But do we really get from these appliance? Do we really have to spend our whole fortune just to have a grab on these goodies?
The malady with HDTV is simply their price since you won't be expecting a brand new and decent HDTV set not including the tuner and antenna to be sold for just a hundred bucks. While surfing the net for my daily canvass, I learned that a TV set costs $2,500 and if you need to buy a tuner and that would cost you another $700 to $3000, then the antenna will cost another $500. The cheapest complete HDTV set is the exorbitant price of $3700.
Are you going to shed that amount of dollars to satisfy your viewing fancy? Would that be a worthwhile investment for someone who can't pay his credit card bills? Well, having a HDTV at home might be a good point and attraction to your already cramped living room but if you're going to buy it in exchange for your daughter's tuition fee, I think you should contemplate on that matter again.
